As a Senior Director of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the regulatory capital and reporting ecosystem, you will combine deep hands-on technical expertise with strategic leadership to transform the firm's regulatory capital and reporting ecosystem.

Operating at the intersection of technology, regulatory transformation, design leadership, and senior stakeholder influence, you will translate complex regulatory expectations into precise architectural direction while challenging existing practices to accelerate modernization.

You will define the engineering strategy for high-integrity platforms supporting capital computation, regulatory submissions, and supervisory compliance; modernize legacy processes through cloud-native redesign, automated data lineage, and AI-driven controls; and communicate with clarity through executive-grade materials and evidence-based challenge that drives strategic, enterprise-wide change

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills



* Tenured technologist operating within the Financial and Technology domains for 15+ years


* Directly manage and provide high-level direction to teams working on cloud-native solutions (e.g., Databricks), microservices, and user interface experiences


* Deep understanding of software engineering best practices, system design, testing, and operational stability.


* Hands-on experience in Basel implementations, regulatory transformations, and advanced technologies like Gen AI.
