National Lead Qualifier

Join our dynamic Team at DHL Global Forwarding! We are looking for a National Lead Qualifier, supporting our successful sales team.

Job Purpose:

This role will focus on sourcing new potential business opportunities (prospects) and qualify them for fit and potential value.

Upon qualification, this role will then allocate the opportunities (leads) to the appropriate sales channel member for follow up.

Key Responsibilities:


* To research target business sectors and trade routes to uncover fresh customer prospects.


* To conduct discovery calls/emails to validate information


* To prioritise leads based on fit, readiness, and potential revenue/margin.


* To set up potential future meetings for our sales teams or allocate to the appropriate sales person based on location and business potential.  


* To maintain accurate records of activities and opportunities using our customer relationship management system (CRM).


* To execute any other duties assigned by your manager that fall within the general scope of the role.

Key Accountabilities:


* To meet and exceed sales lead generation and qualification targets.


* To ensure the CRM is accurate and up to date at all times.


* To ensure appropriate focus on target business sectors and trade routes.

To be successful you will need:


* 2 to 3 years of international freight forwarding experience with a preferred sales background


* High level of good business practice


* Organised, self-confident and hands-on


* Customer services experience preferred
