Position Overview

Victorian Post Acute is seeking a dedicated Dietary Cook to join our Dietary team.

This role is essential in providing nutritious and appealing meals to our residents.

Job Description

As a Dietary Cook, you will be responsible for preparing meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.

Successful candidates will demonstrate a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation.

Requirements

Successful candidates MUST have the following:


* Cooking Experience: Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF), restaurant, or hotel.


* Recipe Adherence: Ability to read and follow specific recipes without supervision.


* Communication Skills: Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and staff.


* Food Handlers Card: Must hold a valid Food Handlers Card.


* Education: High school diploma or equivalent.


* Language Skills: Ability to read technical procedures.
