As a Med Tech, you'll help keep our residents safe and healthy by:
βœ”οΈ Assisting with medication administration as ordered
βœ”οΈ Following all medication policies and procedures
βœ”οΈ Accurately documenting medication passes πŸ“
βœ”οΈ Monitoring residents for reactions and reporting concerns 🚨
βœ”οΈ Verifying resident identity prior to medication administration
βœ”οΈ Measuring and recording vital signs ❀️
βœ”οΈ Collaborating with nurses, physicians, and pharmacy partners 🀝
βœ”οΈ Supporting audits, surveys, and quality improvement efforts
βœ”οΈ Maintaining resident confidentiality at all times πŸ”

βœ… High school diploma or equivalent
βœ… Licensed Medication Aide for SC
βœ… Strong communication and basic math skills
βœ… Reliable, detail-oriented, and a team player 🌟

β€’ Standing, walking, and moving throughout the shift

General Purpose

The primary purpose of your job position is to assist in the administering of medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of the attending physician, the nurse supervisor or charge nurse, and the Director of Nursing Services.

The administration of medications shall be in accordance with established nursing standards, the policies, procedures, and practices of this facility, and the requirements of this state.

Essential Duties

β€’ Follow the policies and procedures of the facility governing the administering of medications to residents.
