Mission Valley Post Acute is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to join our supportive team and provide high-quality care to our patients.

This is a part-time/on-call position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:


* Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans based on physician orders.


* Provide direct patient care, ensuring compliance with treatment protocols.


* Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and provide training to Restorative Aides.


* Maintain thorough documentation and communication with the healthcare team.


* Participate in interdisciplinary conferences and in-service training sessions.


* Assist with discharge planning and provide training for families and caregivers.


* Make recommendations for Durable Medical Equipment (DME) as needed.


* Report equipment maintenance issues to ensure proper functionality.

Required Qualifications:


* Valid Occupational Therapy License.
