Pharmacy Technician – Per Diem – Rehab Hospital

Work Schedule:
20% FTE.

Day Shifts; Saturday and Sunday, every other weekend.

8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.

Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

You will work at the UW Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Madison, WI.

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to:


* Be an exceptional teammate, take the initiative to jump in and help without being asked.


* Provide expertise in a variety of pharmacy technician duties, work both in inpatient and outpatient settings.


* Have a high level of accountability to the work.

You must be self motivated and driven to complete the work in a timely manner to achieve our goals of high quality patient care.

The ideal candidate will have prior hospital experience.

Certification is preferred, but not required.

Qualifications



* High School Diploma or equivalent Required


* Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program Preferred

Work Experience



* 6 months experience as a pharmacy technician or completion of a Pharmacy Technician Training Program Preferred

Licenses & Certifications



* Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician Registration Upon Hire Required


* Must have valid driver's license and must have a driving record that allows for the Health System insurance carrier to cover the incumbent.
