Network Operations Tech II

Job Description:

What you will do to contribute to the company's success



* Configures, deploys, monitors and maintains enterprise fiber technologies and related network hardware, software and configurations.


* Provides business analysis, functional and/or operational support within assigned network areas.


* Works on or manages projects to determine network solution requirements from both a business and operational perspective and ensure those requirements underpin system design, development and enhancement decisions.


* Coordinates system related change and testing activity, ensuring appropriate focus on end user customer and/or business needs and expectations.

Qualifications



* Monitors information on all network sites, analyzes network monitoring tools and identifies component deterioration.


* Responds to incident notifications and alerts, identifying and resolving issues with customer and/or infrastructure impact.


* Performs troubleshooting and data gathering to identify and resolve issues in an efficient manner.


* Ensures proper escalation to technology operations teams and local systems technicians.


* Performs scheduled maintenance monitoring of critical applications by checking status, operations and return to service.


* Ensures proper handover between shifts
