Forklift Operator - Receiving Department 1st Shift

What You'll Do
As a Receiving Forklift Operator, you'll focus on the inbound movement, organization, and accuracy of materials throughout the facility.
Key responsibilities include:
* Receive incoming materials and verify accuracy against documentation
* Safely transport materials to designated production and storage locations
* Stage and stock materials based on production demand and schedules
* Accurately record all receiving and material movement transactions
* Partner with production teams to ensure materials are available when needed
* Perform daily audits and support inventory accuracy
* Maintain clean, organized work areas following 5S and ISO standards
* Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE, and actively promote a safe work environment
* Participate in safety meetings, training, and continuous improvement activities
* Support cross-training efforts and assist teammates as needed
What Success Looks Like
* Production areas are never delayed due to receiving or material availability issues
* Materials are put away correctly and documentation is completed accurately and timely
* Inventory discrepancies are minimized or eliminated
* Safety standards are followed consistently with zero violations
What We're Looking For
* High school diploma or equivalent (recommended)
* Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred
* Forklift experience preferred - certification completed onsite
* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with strong attention to detail
* Basic math and documentation skills
* Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
* Willingness to learn, cross-train, and support other areas as needed
Physical & Work Environment Expectations
* Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and lift throughout the shift
* Regular lifting up to 50 lbs (heavier with assistance or equipment)
* Work in a manufacturing environment with moderate to loud noise
* Exposure to vibration, moving equipment, and varying temperatures
