Solution Architect

Harris Corrections is looking for a Solution Architect/Business Analyst to join our team.
 

What your impact will be:


* Examine and create functional requirements for corrections software


* Examine and document new or revised product, program, service, or process


* Document, validate and manage requirements from stakeholders


* Partner closely with the Product Owner, Project Managers, Development and QA teams


* Create comprehensive use cases and acceptance criteria for new or revised products


* Act as a bridge between business and R&D teams


* Follow and adjust to changing requirements in the corrections industry


* Work in a fast-paced environment


* Work on documentation, release notes and other documentation as needed


* Help Project Managers and Sales

What we expect:


* Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, operations or information systems, or a related field


* Professional certification in business analysis, such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA); or equivalent


* Experience with relevant software and tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, and data analytics tools


* Experience working with cross‑functional teams (Product, R&D, QA, Implementation) to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.


* Knowledge of development cycle including QA


* Knowledge of Agile Development and technical project implementation and delivery


* Knowledge of corrections industry an asset
