We are seeking a dependable and passionate Dietary Cook to join our culinary team.

This role is essential in preparing nutritious and appealing meals that meet the dietary needs of our residents.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities


* Prepare and serve meals according to planned menus and dietary requirements.


* Ensure food is cooked and stored at proper temperatures.


* Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas.


* Follow portion control guidelines and food safety standards.


* Collaborate with dietary aides and nursing staff to accommodate special diets.


* Assist with inventory and ordering of food supplies.

👤 Qualifications


* High school diploma or equivalent.


* Previous experience in a healthcare or senior living kitchen preferred.


* Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe certification a plus).


* 3 years experience in nursing facility


* Ability to follow recipes and dietary guidelines.


* Strong teamwork and communication skills.


* Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
