Position Overview:

The Commercial Private Banker III - Commercial & Industrial (C&I) is responsible for developing, managing, and expanding a portfolio of commercial client relationships while delivering a high-touch, private banking experience.

This role focuses on upper and middle-market, privately held, and closely held businesses and requires a seasoned commercial banker with strong relationship management, business development, and credit expertise.

The Private Banker III serves as a trusted advisor to business owners and senior executives and works collaboratively with internal partners to provide customized lending, deposit, treasury management, and wealth management solutions consistent with Peapack Private Bank & Trust's relationship-driven culture.

Key Responsibilities:


* Develop, manage, and grow a portfolio of Commercial & Industrial (C&I) client relationships


* Originate new business through proactive calling efforts, networking, referrals, and centers of influence


* Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, delivering a proactive, responsive, and consultative client experience


* Structure, underwrite, and manage complex C&I credit relationships, including lines of credit, term loans, and other customized financing solutions


* Prepare, analyze, and present comprehensive credit memoranda and recommendations for approval
