Senior Thermal Simulation Expert
We are seeking a Senior Thermal Simulation Expert with deep expertise in thermal engineering, heat transfer modeling, and system-level thermal management.
This expert will play a key role in designing, analyzing, and optimizing thermal solutions for advanced products and technologies.
The ideal candidate is both technically strong and capable of leading cross-functional discussions, mentoring team members, and driving innovation.
What will you do:
* Lead the design, modeling, and optimization of thermal systems, components, and architectures.
* Conduct detailed thermal simulations using tools such as CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) and FEA (Finite Element Analysis).
* Evaluate thermal performance under a variety of operating conditions and environments.
* Perform steady-state, transient, and worst-case scenario thermal analysis.
* Analyze experimental data, correlate it with simulation models, and refine Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior thermal engineers and cross-functional teams.
* Work closely with mechanical, electrical, reliability, and manufacturing teams to ensure robust and manufacturable thermal solutions.
* Support design reviews, risk assessments, and failure-analysis activities.
* Communicate findings, trade-offs, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Identify opportunities to improve thermal performance and product efficiency.
* Contribute to patent filings, research initiatives, and technology roadmaps.
What will make you successful:
* Proven track record in electromechanical system design and integration, with expertise in both electronic and mechanical components
* Strong technical leadership abilities with experience in cross-functional team environments
* Mastery of multiple specialized skills in electromechanical and electrotechnical domains
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail
* Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts
What's in it for you:
* Opportunity to lead high-impact projects and influence product direction.
* A collaborative environment with world-class engineering talent.
* Competitive salary, benefits, and professional development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
* 5+ years of experience in thermal design, analysis, simulation and testing for complex systems or products.
* Strong knowledge of heat transfer fundamentals: conduction, convection, radiation, and phase-change cooling.
* Understanding of electrical systems and electromagnetic effects on conductive parts.
* Hands-on expertise with thermal simulation tools (e.g., Fluent, Icepak, COMSOL, FloTHERM)
* Experience running CFD and FEA simulations, including mesh generation a...
