Key Account Manager - Eskom and Renewables, Southern Africa

Your Mission:

As the Key Account Manager for Eskom and Renewables, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth and deepening customer intimacy with one of the most critical accounts in the region.

You will lead the commercial engagement with Eskom and key renewable energy stakeholders, ensuring alignment with our business objectives and delivering value through innovative power system solutions.

You will:


* Develop and execute account strategies that support long-term growth and profitability.


* Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders at Eskom and within the renewables ecosystem.


* Identify and pursue new business opportunities across grid modernization, energy transition, and digitalization.


* Collaborate cross-functionally with technical, commercial, and delivery teams to ensure customer satisfaction, portolfio saturation across Schneider Electric and project success.


* Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics to inform strategic decisions.

* Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of the Southern African power sector, especially Eskom's structure, challenges, and transformation roadmap.


* Renewables Knowledge: Familiarity with solar, wind, storage, and hybrid systems, including regulatory frameworks and project development cycles.


* Commercial Acumen: Strong negotiation, financial modeling, and contract management skills.


* Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with C-level executives, government bodies, and technical teams.


* Project Leadership: Ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and drive execution in a matrixed environment.
