Sales Climate Solutions Manager

Grain & Protein Technologies is seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Climate Solutions Manager to lead the growth and strategic development of our business.

This role is ideal for someone deeply immersed in the livestock and greenhouse industry, with a passion for innovation, customer-centric solutions, and sustainable agriculture.

The successful candidate will drive sales, expand our product portfolio, and forge strategic partnerships across key markets .

Job Responsibilities:


* Sales Leadership : Drive sales of core climate equipment including ventilation, cooling, and heating systems.


* Portfolio Expansion : Promote integrated climate control solutions tailored to both naturally and mechanically ventilated greenhouses.


* Strategic Partnerships : Cultivate and strengthen relationships with leading livestock and greenhouse manufacturers and turnkey project suppliers.


* Business Strategy : Identify market gaps and develop actionable strategies to grow in the assigned area with specific focus on greenhouse segment.


* Product Positioning : Define compelling value propositions and product positioning to meet evolving customer needs.

Competencies:


* Industry Expertise : Deep knowledge of the greenhouse and livestock sector, including major players, market dynamics, and regional developments.


* Market Insight : Strong grasp of current trends, investment activity, and emerging opportunities in agriculture.


* Technical Acumen : In-depth understanding of climate management systems and their impact on crop performance.


* Customer Focus : Proven ability to identify growth opportunities and translate customer needs into tailored solutions.


* Mobility : Willingness and ability to travel at least 50% of the time across regions and markets

Minimum Qualifications


* B achelor's degree required, preferably in Agricultural Sciences, Horticulture, Agronomy, Animal Husbandry or a related field.


* Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written); additional European languages (e.g., French, or German) are a strong asset.


* Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in technical sales or business development roles, specifically within the greenhouse, horticultural, or agri-tech sector.


* In-depth knowledge of controlled environment agriculture, greenhouse structures, irrigation systems, climate control, or related technologies.


* Strong commercial acumen


* Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with dealers, and key decision-makers.


* Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and standard sales reporting practices.


* Willingness to travel extensively within the EMEA region (up to 50-70%).


* Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and lead sales strategies across multiple markets.
