Salinas Valley Post Acute is seeking a dedicated and patient‑focused Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team.

Our facility is resident‑centered and committed to delivering exceptional therapeutic outcomes in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Position Summary

The Physical Therapy Assistant works under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to provide high‑quality therapy services to post‑acute and long‑term care residents.

This role supports treatment plan implementation, functional progress, and the overall well‑being of each resident.

Key Responsibilities


* Assist the Physical Therapist in providing treatment services as outlined in individualized care plans


* Deliver therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and restorative interventions


* Monitor and document resident progress accurately and timely in accordance with state and federal guidelines


* Communicate effectively with the PT, interdisciplinary team, and nursing staff regarding resident status


* Educate residents and families on exercises, safety, and functional maintenance programs


* Support a positive, team‑oriented therapy environment
