Occupational Therapist (OT) - Full-Time, Part-Time, or PRN

Salinas Valley Post Acute is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our growing rehabilitation team.

We offer flexible scheduling options—including Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN—within a supportive, resident-centered environment focused on exceptional clinical outcomes.

Position Summary

The Occupational Therapist provides evaluation, treatment, and care planning for residents with functional, cognitive, or ADL limitations in a skilled nursing and post‑acute care setting.

This role supports resident independence, safety, and functional improvement through evidence‑based therapy practices.

Key Responsibilities


* Complete evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans


* Provide therapeutic interventions targeting ADLs, functional mobility, strength, cognition, and safety


* Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications


* Document treatment and resident progress accurately and timely


* Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy programs and care strategies


* Collaborate closely with PT, SLP, nursing, and medical teams


* Foster a positive, supportive therapy environment

Qualifications


* Current California Occupational Therapist (OT) license in good standing


* Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills


* Passion for serving geriatric and post‑acute populations


* SNF experience preferred, but new grads welcome to apply!
