Job Description:

Job Purpose:

Assist and support the Business Banking function.

Enhance relationships through financial analysis and credit review, following loan policies and business lending guidelines.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.

Other duties may be assigned.


* Spread financial statements in designated software, with lender interaction for clarification or interpretation of entries and generate risk rating calculations.


* Compose detailed financial analysis reports of the borrower for use in credit approval documents and identify their strengths and weaknesses.


* Assist with timely completion of credit approvals and annual reviews per Lending Guidelines.


* Attend meetings with customers for annual reviews, new loan requests, and/or follow-up questions from financial statement analysis.


* Assist in monitoring follow up items and gathering financial information and documents needed to complete credit arrangement and monitor loan relationship.


* Maintain customer files in an up-to-date and organized manner along with managing and organizing loans on Business Banking software system.


* Coordinate and/or participate in group events or social or community events.


* Help identify additional opportunities/products to strengthen customer relationships.


* Be available to present a credit request to Loan Committee in the Business Bankers absence.

Skills:


* Basic PC skills and proficiency of the English language


* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills


* Ability to exercise independent judgment and exercise discretion regarding confidential matters


* Adapt and prioritize within a constantly changing environment


* Attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills
