Job Summary

Design, plan, and implement information technology (IT) audit programs based on risk assessments.

Plan and lead IT audit engagements and provide IT guidance and support for technology risk related to all audits.

Conduct comprehensive reviews of IT systems and processes to identify potential risks and control weaknesses.

Document findings, prepare detailed audit reports, communicate results to the County's bureau/department heads and senior leadership.

Monitor recommendations to ensure successful implementation of corrective actions.

Work closely with other IT professionals and stakeholders to ensure best practices are implemented throughout the County.

Ensure compliance with relevant federal, state, and local regulations and standards (e.g., National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies (COBIT), International Organization for Standardization (ISO), etc.) Stay updated on new technologies and industry standards to enhance audit procedures.

Identify and support the application computer assisted audit techniques (CAAT) for all audits.

This position is Actively Recruited and At Will.

This position may be eligible for a signing bonus.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or a directly related field is required.

• Four (4) years as an IT Auditor or directly related experience is required.

• In good standing as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required.

• Possession of a valid driver's license is required.

This position is considered a safety-sensitive position.
