At Kimpton Fitzroy London, we are looking for Full Time for a Host to join our team in Fitz’s Bar with an immediate start!

Located in the heart of Kimpton Fitzroy London, Fitz’s Russell Sq.

features three opulent spaces with unique personalities.

Fitz’s Brasserie, a sophisticated eatery serving classic British dishes elevated from modern palates, and Fitz’s Bar & Parlour, a glamorous drinking dean and all-day parlour.

Here guests can dine on quintessentially British cuisine, sip finely crafted cocktails and savour a late-night tipple (or two).

Here local foodies and intrepid travellers alike gather to create memorable tales.

Kimpton Fitzroy Hotel is in the heart of Bloomsbury just a 2 minute walk from Russell Square tube station where the Piccadilly line runs 24hrs a day on Fridays and Saturdays!

As a Host we will support you to:

As our Host, you will be responsible for welcoming customers into a Bar, creating an appropriate atmosphere for all guests.

Greeting guests and showing them to their respective tables.

You will be the first point of contact providing a personalised service, dealing with customers queries and concerns and assisting with large parties and VIP’s whilst ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are met in the front of house areas. The ideal candidate must be willing and able to work late into the evening.

To be a success in this role you will need to have: 


* 2 years’ experience as a waiter or bartender in a busy restaurant and/or bar, experience leading small teams.


* To be passionate about delivering great service and great food and drinks


* Knowledge of both Micros Simphony (POS) and OpenTable Pro (TMS) an advantage, other POS and TMS essential.


* To be confident and show natural leadership capability.

Hosts should be able to articulate a restaurant and bar revenue cycle especially focussed on how to manage and retain demand. 


* Experience with handling guests queries and concerns.


* The desire to learn new things and work as part of a wide hotel team.
