Physician Assistant – Electrophysiology Procedural
Work Schedule:
100%, day shift working Monday - Friday, 4, 10 hour shifts between 7:00 am - 5:00 pm.
This will include rotating procedural and clinic schedule with a potential need for future 1:6 weekend rotation with two call shifts per week every six weeks, based on service needs.
You will work at University Hospital and UnityPoint Health Meriter in Madison, WI.

As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our inpatient and outpatient care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.
We are seeking a Physician Assistant - Electrophysiology Procedural to:
* Be an active member of the cross-functional team, by providing comprehensive care to both well and ill adult patients in inpatient, outpatient, and procedural settings at University Hospital and UnityPoint Health - Meriter.
* Manage pre and post procedure patients: cardiac ablations, device-based procedures, extractions, cardioversions, and implantable loop recorders, as well as inpatient consults.
* First assist with pacemaker device placements, generator replacements, ablation procedures, lead extractions, and lead revisions.
Independently perform cardioversions, loop recorder implantations, and loop explants.
* Perform independent clinic visits (local and regional) for electrophysiology patients.

Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree from accredited PA program Required or
* Master's Degree from accredited PA program Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
* Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice Upon Hire Required and
* Active PA board certification Upon Hire Required and
* Active DEA license or ability to apply for such a license Upon Hire Required
