Junior Site Manager

Enersense Engineering Oy is looking for a Junior Site Manager to support its client's site operations in Kilpilahti, Finland.

In this role, you will work closely with the Site / Construction Manager and gain hands-on experience in supervising installation works, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring that safety, quality, and schedules are met.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to develop practical site management skills in a professional, international project environment while being involved in day-to-day construction and installation activities.

The project starts as soon as possible and is expected to run until October 2026, with a possibility for an extension.

Main tasks and responsibilities:


* Provide day-to-day support to the Site/ Construction Manager


* Support and promote site safety organization and compliance


* Supervise and monitor installation works to ensure quality, safety and schedule adherence


* Report progress, issues and deviations to the Construction Manager


* Oversee and document installation activities both on site and in the prefabrication workshop


* Supervise and support subcontractors and hired personnel


* Organize and prepare work areas for installation activities


* Manage and monitor the availability of tools, equipment and materials


* Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of completed works


* Coordinate on-site work organization, including implementation of the work order system


* Support client reporting requirements and communication


* Assist in planning and scheduling of installation works

Requirements:


* Suitable Engineering educational background for the position e.g.

from Mechanical Engineering


* Basic knowledge of site management related to scope, time schedule and cost


* Experience in documentation in piping works in the industrial sector considered as an advantage


* Flexibility in working hours


* Knowledge of different tasks and responsibilities in projects


* Motivation to perform tasks, also in unknown areas of works


* Ability and willing to work in a team


* English language skills, Finnish and German language skills are considered as a benefit
