Radiologic Technologist Regular & Per Diem

The County of Riverside's Diagnostic Imaging Department at Riverside University Health System's Medical Center seeks Radiologic Technologists to join our team in Moreno Valley.

This job posting will serve to fill regular full-time and Per Diem vacancies.

Schedule for Regular Positions: Day and swing shifts, rotating weekends, Holiday, and on-call required.
Schedule for Per Diem position:
Swing shift - Minimum of 4 shifts per month.

Regular Full-time Rates:
$35.0786 - 53.2526 Hourly
Per Diem Rate:
$53.2526

• Operates equipment as directed; provides patient protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
• Assists physicians in the administering of contrast media; assures the technical quality and the proper functioning of equipment within designated areas.
• Maintains adequate records; maintains orderliness and cleanliness of all work areas; secures and returns supplies.
• Instructs students and ancillary personnel; assists in the use of a variety of equipment or procedures.
• Assists in the development of technical factors; records patient information;.
• Maintains an effective work relationship with patients, visitors, departmental and hospital staff.Experience: Recent experience in an acute care setting in a full-service hospital as a radiologic technologist is preferred but not required.

Knowledge of: The principles, techniques and methods applicable to radiologic technology; the operation and care of radiographic equipment; structural and organic anatomy; the principles of radiography, film processing and development; federal, state, local laws and regulations governing radiation safety.
