Summary - basic function of the role

The Supply Chain Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for leading strategic improvement initiatives across supply chain and operations to drive efficiency, standardization, cost optimization, and performance excellence.

This role serves as a catalyst for change by applying structured problem-solving, project management discipline, and data-driven decision-making to deliver measurable business results.

This position partners cross-functionally with operations, category management, planning, logistics, finance, IT, and leadership teams to design, implement, and sustain continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires strong leadership, analytical, and change management capabilities, along with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Execution


* Lead end-to-end continuous improvement projects using structured methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or PMI-based frameworks).


* Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource plans.


* Assemble, lead, and influence cross-functional project teams to achieve targeted outcomes.


* Proactively manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and scope changes.

Process Improvement & Standardization


* Lead process design initiatives focused on standardization, simplification, automation, and scalability.


* Implement best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), playbooks, and training materials.


* Serve as a thought leader in process excellence, data analytics, systems optimization, and workflows.


* Identify opportunities for operational excellence, productivity improvement, cost reduction, service enhancement, and digital enablement.

Performance Management & Analytics


* Design and maintain KPI frameworks, dashboards, and standardized reporting tools.
