Food and Beverage Attendant

Crowne Plaza Canberra is looking for Full-time and Part-time  Food and Beverage attendants to grow a great team, who will 'll be delivering unforgettable experiences through warm welcome, inspired recommendations and seamless service across our Restaurant, Lume Bar and Conferencing.

  

 

A little taste of your day to day 


* Understanding the menu and promotional activities 



* Handling cash and credit transactions 



* Setting up and packing down functions and events 



* Ensuring guest enquiries and restaurant dining reservations are followed through in a professional manner 



* Preparing and serving food & drinks to a high standard as well as highlighting promotions for our guests 



* Responding to colleague / guest requests promptly in order to deliver a seamless service in conjunction with service team 



* Collaborating with our Events team and Kitchen to provide seamless service across out Food & Beverage Offerings 


* Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails and other beverages 

 

What We need from you:  


* Proven experience in similar role


* Attention to detail – creating amazing guest service moments with the team 



* Flexibility - working, weekends and public holidays are all part of the job 



* Ability to work in a team and a fast-paced environment and prioritize workloads, as well as assist in supporting the team with other duties as required 



* Excellent personal grooming and hygiene standards 



* Motivation – your presence will impact your team and our guests; therefore, it will be important to stay motivated and energized 



* Most importantly a passion for food & beverage 



* A current RSA certificate 


* Excellent Knowledge of cocktail recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage service (Bar only) 



* You must have working rights in Australia
