About the Role

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will support the Maintenance Director in ensuring our facility remains in excellent working condition.

Your work helps create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for the residents we serve.
Key Responsibilities


* Assist with general facility repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks


* Support routine inspections of building systems and equipment


* Complete work orders efficiently and with attention to detail


* Help maintain grounds, common areas, and preventive maintenance schedules


* Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents


* Ensure compliance with safety standards and facility policies

Qualifications


* Previous maintenance experience preferred (healthcare setting a plus)


* Ability to perform basic repairs and use standard tools


* Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive mindset


* Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
