Remarketing Sales Manager

The primary responsibilities of the position consist of, but are not limited to:


* Develop and execute remarketing strategies for used material handling equipment


* Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new marketing opportunities


* Collaborate with sales, service and inventory management teams to optimize equipment readiness for resale.


* Build and maintain relationships with key clients, dealers, and industry partners


* Prepare and present reports on remarketing performance and market insights.


* Manage pricing strategies and ensure competitive positioning in the market


* Oversee inventory management and logistics related to remarketing activities


* Schedule weekly visits to assigned locations


* Lead, coach, support, and motivate sales team to meet annual Remarketing sales goals


* Delivering an exceptional customer buying experience


* Handle escalations and support sales staff in customer negotiations


* Consistent, regular, and reliable attendance including being ready for work at the designated start time


* Incorporate Alta's Guiding Principles into daily activities


* Performs other duties as assigned

Desired Skills and Qualifications:


* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field


* 5+ years of experience in remarketing, sales, or a related field within the material handling industry


* Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision making


* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment


* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software


* Reliable vehicle required

Physical Demands/Work Environment:


* Physical/Sensory Functions: Regularly will use hands, sit, talk/hear, taste/smell; Frequently will stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; Occasionally will climb or balance.


* Lift and/or Move Functions: Regularly will lift up to 25 pounds; Occasionally will lift up to 50 pounds


* Work Environment: Occasionally will work near moving mechanical parts
