Nursing Assistant - Full Time - Night Shift

The Riverside University Health System's (RUHS) - Medical Center seeks a Nursing Assistant - Full Time to join our team in Moreno Valley to support the Med#3 (4B) Division.

Under supervision, assists professional nursing personnel or other professional healthcare providers in providing basic patient care and treatment; observes patients via video monitoring equipment from a remote location; performs nonprofessional nursing duties in the care of physically and mentally ill patients; performs other related duties as required.

The Nursing Assistant is an entry level classification and typically reports to appropriate supervisory or management level nursing staff.

Incumbents may be assigned to any outpatient clinic or inpatient nursing unit across the Riverside University Health System (RUHS) or within the Department of Public Health.

The most competitive candidate acquires a Nursing Assistant Certification.

Preferred Experience: Experience with electronic documentation, ideally with EPIC or any similar program.

Prior Nursing Assistant experience with a minimum of 1 year is preferred.

Please note will complete general hospital onboarding for all staff, followed by 2 weeks of floor orientation in the unit alongside a current CNA.

The RUHS-MC is a 24-hour facility - incumbents must be flexible to work any shift including weekends and holidays.

Schedule: Night Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM ( 7/80, 6-12hrs shift and 1-8hr shift with every other weekend commitment).
Schedule may rotate based on operational needs.

SALARY RANGE
$20.70- $27.59 Hourly

$3,589.73- $4,783.33 Monthly

$43,076.80- $57,399.93 Annually

Nursing Assistant Differentials:

Evening Shift Diff (3p - 11:30p) : $.60 for the time actually worked between the hours

Night Shift Diff (11:00p - 7:30a): $1.20 for the time actually worked between the hours
