As part of one of the world’s most innovative and community‑focused mining operations, you’ll gain hands‑on experience operating a Haul Truck all while being home every night.

No prior mining experience is required.

We’re looking for people with the right attitude, motivation, and willingness to learn.

This 12‑month traineeship combines on‑the‑job learning with off‑the‑job, competency‑based training through TAFE, leading to a nationally recognised Certificate II in Surface Extraction Operations.

During the traineeship, you will:


* Build strong knowledge of environmental and safety principles


* Participate in toolbox discussions and team initiatives


* Operate a haul truck


* Use problem‑solving skills to contribute to productivity improvements


* Work rotating shift rosters across a 24/7 operation, including nights and weekends

You’ll be supported by experienced trainers and a structured learning environment, ensuring every day provides new challenges and practical development opportunities.
