Job Description:

Lead the organization driving strategy and architecture for Compute Server Storage Architecture.

Deliver the Server Storage Architecture strategy for Future HPE Compute servers:


* Identify the likely Storage (HDD and SSD) technologies to be offered with Compute servers.


* Recommend the types and quantities of Storage Options that customers will need to support their workloads.


* Influence form factors, chassis size, interfaces supported, device form factors supported, numbers of lanes, thermals/power, and manageability support.


* Strive for best solutions that achieve support for the likely Options portfolio, balancing flexibility and cost.

Unique mastery and recognized authority on relevant subject matter knowledge including technologies, theories and techniques.

Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas.

Successfully operates in the most complex disciplines, in which the company must operate to be successful.

Provides highly innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:


* Actively participates and drives new technologies into industry standards, technical conferences, and other forums to influence the industry to align with HPE priorities.


* Research and evaluate emerging drive and storage technologies and industry trends to gain a comprehensive understanding of the market and technologies.


* Serve as a trusted SME for customers, Product and Senior Management, Cross-BU technical leaders, and other stakeholders within the company.
