Process Engineer – Diffusion Coatings

As a Process Engineer, drive technical excellence and process innovation for advanced aerospace and aero-derivative turbine systems.

In this role, you’ll lead complex projects, develop cutting‑edge processes, and use lean tools to push performance, quality, and efficiency to new levels.

Key Responsibilities:


* Own the high‑temperature vapor diffusion coating process and its technical direction.


* Lead key projects using strong project management and problem‑solving skills.


* Partner across teams to build robust, cost‑effective manufacturing processes.


* Create and publish technical reports, specs, procedures, and work instructions.


* Develop KPIs that drive performance and process clarity.


* Identify improvement opportunities and implement lean-driven solutions.


* Coordinate prototype builds and approvals.


* Design engineering experiments that move the business forward.

 

Qualifications


* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Materials or Chemical Engineering is preferred).


* 2+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment; aerospace preferred.


* 2+ years of experience with high temperature vapor diffusion coatings is preferred.


* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.


* Experience with superalloys, high temperature coatings, and electroplating is preferred.


* Knowledge of FAA guidelines for PMA requirements and compliance testing is highly desirable.



* Experience with continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, design thinking methodologies is a plus.
