Registered Nurse III - MC/CHC - CHC Administration

The County of Riverside - Riverside University Health System (RUHS) - Community Health Centers (CHC) is currently recruiting for a Registered Nurse III MC/CHC to join the CHC Administration team located in Riverside.

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing, The Registered Nurse III MC/CHC will collaborate closely with nursing leadership to coordinate and deliver in-sevice training for clinic staff and Lead RN's.

The RN will assist with onboarding and orientation of new clinical staff, competency skills validation; creating, reviewing, and maintaining policies and training materials; and travel to various Community Health Center (CHC) sites to conduct in-person training.

The most competitive candidate will have RN experience, demonstrated experience in education and clinical training, and a valid California driver's license.

Required License and Certification:


* A current and valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.


* A current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Work Schedule:
9/80, Monday - Friday with every other Friday off
Hours: 7:30 am to 5:00pm

• Assist physicians in administering treatments and in performing medical examinations, diagnostic tests and surgical operations.

• Administer prescribed treatment and medications, including dispensing, as ordered to patients; chart treatment of patients; record and report significant changes in condition and general progress of patients.

• Counsel and advise patients, families and significant others regarding special medical problems and/or proper healthcare methods.

• Prepare and maintain concise and complete records and reports; instruct patients in carrying out physician's orders; transcribe physician's orders to working records.
