Job Description:
Working in a team environment and supporting R/D and Manufacturing team members to support all aspects of prototype planning (purchases, inventory analysis, kit prep, etc.) Participate in prototype reviews with engineering team members.
Responsibilities could include supporting R/D team members with SKU/BOM design documentation requirements
Partners with R&D and New Product Introduction (NPI) Supply Chain groups to successfully introduce new products into world-wide production.
Product Engineers interface with R&D, factory Process engineering, Test Engineering and Reliability engineering to support NPI introductions.
Responsibilities:
* Participates as a member of project team of other product engineers to develop and execute reliable, cost effective and high-quality manufacturing solutions for products from new- product introduction through end of lifecycle.
* Implements specified changes to product or process to reduce defects, improve quality, and lower costs.
* Develops understanding of and relationship with internal and outsourced partners for product development and manufacturing.
Education and Experience Required:
* Associates degree, or bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or equivalent work experiences.
* Typically, 1-4 years' experience
Knowledge and Skills:
* Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Good written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
* Highly motivated team member to work within R/D organization to support a wide verity of work opportunities.
