The Principal Financial Analyst serves as a strategic finance partner and subject matter expert, driving financial accountability and decision-making across the organization.

This role leads complex financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis efforts, and provides actionable insights to senior leadership.

The analyst plays a key role in investment evaluations, acquisition activity, and long-term planning, while mentoring others and influencing enterprise-level financial strategy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


* Drive financial accountability across business units by equipping managers with tools, education, and processes to understand the financial impact of their decisions.


* Lead financial decision-making support for operational teams, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.


* Prepare and analyze the most complex financial and operational reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.


* Conduct expert-level financial modeling and forecasting to support strategic planning, investment decisions, and business performance.


* Develop and maintain advanced costing models and present financial results and recommendations to senior leadership.


* Analyze operating results and financial positions, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.


* Perform economic research and studies in areas such as rates of return, depreciation, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, and regulatory impact.


* Audit and validate financial data and statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal and external standards.


* Lead cross-functional financial initiatives and enterprise-wide projects.


* Mentor and guide other analysts, fostering independent problem-solving and professional growth.


* Ensure compliance with corporate policies, including the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.


* Comply with Risk Management program requirements, including identification of risks, key controls, and control testing.


* Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)


* Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; Master's degree preferred.


* Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in financial analysis or planning roles.


* Expert-level proficiency in Excel (financial modeling) and PowerPoint.
