Key Account Manager (KAM) – Segmento Buildings

Main responsibilities


* Managing strategic Buildings accounts, prospecting business opportunities for all Schneider divisions (products and solutions) at national level.


* Owning and developing long-term relationships with senior stakeholders (C-level, directors, facility and engineering leaders) in key clients.


* Acting as the senior main point of contact between key clients and Schneider internal teams.


* Developing a deep understanding of key clients' business, technical and sustainability needs and translating them into end-to-end customized solutions.


* Expanding relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing value-based and transformational solutions aligned with their business and sustainability objectives.

Main activities


* Strategic account management and multi-year account plan ownership.


* Promote the whole Schneider portfolio and orchestrate all business units across complex customer opportunities (Products, Systems, Software and Services).


* Commercial and strategic alignment with segment leadership, sales management and executive sponsors.


* Define target prices, lead complex commercial negotiations and support contract structuring.


* Senior-level customer visits, executive engagement and relationship governance.


* Proactive risk identification and mitigation, including commercial, contractual and execution risks.


* Full ownership of CRM tool management, including pipeline governance, deal quality and forecast accuracy.


* Interface with back office and extended teams (Tendering, Application, Execution, Legal, Risk and Finance), ensuring governance and compliance.


* Lead discussions on sustainability, energy efficiency, digitalization and decarbonization, positioning Schneider as a trusted advisor for Buildings transformation.

Qualifications:


* Graduation in Electrical Engineering (or related engineering discipline).


* Strong and proven sales experience with focus on Buildings strategic customers and the full ecosystem (End Users, Developers, Consultants, Integrators).


* Solid understanding of commercial buildings, critical facilities, infrastructure and energy management environments.


* Advanced technical knowledge in Software, Electrical Distribution, Automation and Digital Energy solutions for Buildings.


* Strong digital and disruptive profile, with consultative and solution-selling mindset.


* Extensive experience in CRM tools and complex pipeline management.


* Advanced English (Spanish desirable).
