COMPENSATION INFORMATION
The salary range(s) represents our good faith estimate for the role at this time.

While we strive to provide competitive and transparent compensation, there may be circumstances where an offer is above or outside of the listed range.

We are open to discussing salary expectations with qualified candidates considering factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location will all be considered during the hiring process.

Engineer Pay Range: $108,000 - $125,000


* Engineer II Pay Range: $90,000 - $99,000


* Engineer I Pay Range: $80,000 - $87,000

The Engineer supports the systems, applications, data exchanges, displays, and models that enable SPP’s Reliability Coordination, Tariff Administration, Regional Scheduling, Market Operations, Balancing Authority, and Training services.

This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of input data and analytical results within SPP’s Energy Management Systems (EMS) and related platforms.

The position requires strong engineering judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to make sound decisions—sometimes in time-sensitive or high-pressure situations—to support reliable grid operations and market functions.
