Position Summary

Arvin Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Treatment Nurse (LVN) to join our clinical team on a part-time basis.

The Treatment Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality wound and skin care treatments, monitoring healing progress, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal resident outcomes.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities


* Provide ordered wound care and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols


* Perform skin assessments and monitor wounds for signs of healing or complications


* Accurately document treatments, observations, and resident responses in the electronic medical record


* Make written and oral reports and recommendations to the attending physician, Medical Director, and Director of Nursing regarding resident status and care


* Work with the Interdisciplinary Care Plan Team to develop and update individualized care plans


* Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards


* Maintain confidentiality of resident information, including Protected Health Information (PHI)


* Promptly report any suspected or known violations of resident rights or facility policies

Qualifications


* Active California LVN license in good standing


* Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) preferred


* Wound care or treatment nurse experience strongly preferred


* Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills

Physical Requirements


* Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist with resident care as needed


* Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds


* Ability to perform repetitive tasks and use clinical and office equipment
