Job Summary:

The Senior Electrical Engineer R&D is a highly technical leadership role within CooperSurgical's R&D Product Engineering group.

The position focuses on the design and development of advanced electrical and electronic systems supporting product upgrades, line extensions, and sustaining initiatives.

The scope includes complex electro-mechanical connected systems and devices used in In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF) and Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART).

Additionally, the role offers opportunities to contribute to surgical devices and instruments across the broader women's health domain, including Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBGYN).

CooperSurgical's integrated approach-combining Front-End Innovation, New Product Development, and Product Engineering-creates a dynamic environment for R&D engineers.

This role provides the unique opportunity to engage in end-to-end product development, from user-centric concept generation through rigorous engineering and testing, culminating in successful market launch and ongoing product support.

Organizational Impact:

The Senior Electrical Engineer's role is expected to deliver on committed targets with major impact on the department results as it relates to design and development of electrical and electronic solutions for complex electro-mechanical systems.

This is a lead technical role expected to work with limited oversight including responsibilities for managing projects and workstreams that sometimes span even beyond electrical engineering domain.

The Engineer in this role is expected to interface with external suppliers, development partners, and user community to come up with robust designs and solutions.
