Hydraulic Assembler - Full Time with Benefits

Responsibilities

Purpose of Position: Reading and interpretation of schematics (blue prints).

Installation of hydraulic components including pumps, hoses and PTOs

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:



* Hydraulic experience required
+ Mechanical and Automotive Aptitude - Automotive, mechanical and hydraulic experience including plumbing and pulling hose.

Installing pumps and PTOs
+ Hands-on work with hoses, fittings, pumps, and cylinders
+ Ability to assemble hydraulic components accurately and efficiently
+ Blueprints and Schematic interpretation - Ability to read, understand and work from schematics and technical drawings to support hydraulic host assembly and ensure correct installation, function and performance.
+ Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic systems
+ Use and conduct proper care of PPE
+ Read and interpret work orders
+ Use basic hand tools such as tape measure and specialty equipment
+ Learn and operate all equipment within the work area (cell)
+ Support APS (Altec Production System) initiatives.

May participate in kaizen events
+ Willing to move to other work areas in order to support production needs.

+ Testing of installed components
+ Follow established safety, environmental and quality policies, procedures and practices
+ Maintain work area and shop tools/equipment
+ Maintain daily time records
+ Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:



* High School Diploma/GED required


* Ability to read, write, and comprehend required


* Basic computer usage knowledge desired


* Vocational Training in lieu of experience will be considered


* Ability to read tape measure, blue prints, and schematics desired
