Your Role: Human Resources Employee Relations Consultant
As the Human Resources Employee Relations Consultant, you will be a trusted partner and key member of our centralized ER team, providing essential guidance and investigation support for our US-based employees.
You will own and manage a variety of employee relations cases, applying your expertise to ensure fair, consistent outcomes that align with Elanco’s policies and culture.
This role is critical in fostering a positive and compliant work environment by directly advising employees and leaders on complex workplace matters.
Your Responsibilities:
* Provide clear coaching and guidance to leaders and employees on performance management, policy application, and workplace concerns to ensure fair and consistent outcomes.
* Own and conduct thorough HR investigations from intake to resolution, ensuring all workplace complaints and policy concerns are addressed impartially and documented meticulously.
* Apply a strong understanding of employment law to ensure all employee relations activities, including disciplinary actions and accommodations, are compliant with company policy and legal requirements.
* Manage assigned ER cases effectively and contribute to the continuous improvement of team processes by identifying trends, sharing insights, and partnering on HR projects.
* Partnering with Human Resource Business Partners to drive performance improvement to balance the business needs and employee deliverables.
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
* Education: Bachelor’s Degree.
* Required Experience: A minimum of 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, with at least 3 years specializing in employee relations and workplace investigations.
* Top 2 Skills: Proven ability to coach and influence leaders and employees, combined with strong communication skills for managing sensitive conversations with professionalism and care.
