Sr. Supply Chain Analyst

Job Description

AutoZone Senior Supply Chain Analysts are responsible for forecasting and purchasing the correct inventory into the distribution centers.

Plans seasonal replenishment for stores and distribution centers.

Coordinates with other departments on new planograms, promotions and other events that require detailed planning.

Leads collaboration with suppliers to ensure product is available.

Trains other team members on replenishment processes.

Provides in-depth analyses and insights that drive change and improved efficiencies.

Responsibilities



* Review and adjust the forecast which is used to determine purchase quantities


* Place purchase orders to vendors


* Manage the replenishment parameters in the system


* Manage collaboration with vendors, DCs and merchandising


* Lead projects to increase inventory turns and supply chain efficiency


* Maintain minimal inventory levels to achieve KPI targets


* Analyze data and provide insights to team members


* Trains other team members

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications



* A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS).


* Three to five years of experience in purchasing, demand planning, inventory management, supply chain analysis or equivalent.

OR, high school diploma and 8 years of experience in purchasing, demand planning, inventory management, supply analysis or equivalent.
