8557 B4 SMALL ASSEMBLIES - Assembler 2 - 3601

We are seeking a talented, passionate, and highly motivated Assembler to join our Evap team at our Bremen facility.

T he ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying parts, assembly, tools, equipment, and product within their department, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.

Works well within the team setting, openly shares perspective in team meetings and contributes to discussions in a constructive manner.

You will work onsite at our Bremen, AL facility.

Your Impact


* Prepare Assemble orders according to order and pallet requirements.


* Create barcodes for part identification and accurately scan inventory in and out of the plant using RF and handheld scanners.


* Report inventory discrepancies to the Team Leader/Supervisor.


* Maintain a clean and orderly work area to 5S Standards.


* Implement all aspects of GSI Lean and Quality Management systems.


* Pack boxes and crates with various component parts.


* Other responsibilities as assigned.

Your Experience and Qualifications


* High school diploma or GED


* Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.


* Basic computer skills.


* Understanding of how to use RF and handheld scanner as well as the ability to read a tape measure.


* Ability to read, write and use basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).


* Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to follow precise instructions.


* Ability to communicate effectively with peers, managers and across departments.
