Starting Salary Range: The starting salary for this position will be in the $22.93 to $23.62 range, depending on experience, education, and skills relevant to the position.

Please note that the indicated starting salary range describes the range for an incumbent in this position.

Most new staff generally start at the beginning of the range percentile to ensure internal salary equity.  

Location: Phoenix, AZ
Status: Full time/Non-Exempt

Program Summary:

Arizona Conservation Corps (AZCC) operates conservation service programs across Arizona, empowering individuals to positively impact their lives, communities, and the environment.

As a program of Conservation Legacy, AZCC continues the legacy of the Civilian Conservation Corps from the 1930s, focusing on connecting youth, young adults, and recent military veterans with conservation service projects on public lands.

 

The Phoenix Program office began with the launch of its first Urban Forestry Maintenance crews in the Fall of 2024.

Since then, the office has expanded to support a broader range of urban crews and IP team projects, including the Urban Forestry Program, as well as additional Urban Day Crew programming, and several specialized IP team initiatives such as Seeds of Success (SOS), Assessment Inventory Monitoring (AIM), botany, and invasive species management.

 

Position Summary: 

The Phoenix Program Coordinator will play a critical role in implementing and supporting the expansion of the Phoenix office.

Reporting to the Senior Program Director, the Phoenix Program Coordinator will be responsible for aiding in the successful recruitment, training, and supervision of Crew Leaders, as well as mentorship of Crew Members.
