National Business Development Manager

Responsibilities



* Strategic Planning: You'll assist our Commercial Leadership in analyzing market data and crafting customer development plans that drive profitable sales.

Your strategic vision will help us grow our Commercial National Account business significantly.


* Team Leadership: Motivate and lead our Commercial Sales Team to new heights.

Your leadership will inspire productivity and innovation, enhancing sales and profits.


* Account Management: Identify and target national corporate accounts, conduct regular business reviews, and build strong C-Suite relationships.

Your efforts will ensure we maintain and grow our customer base.


* Market Analysis: Develop market analysis and action plans for our Commercial National Accounts.

Your insights will guide our business decisions and strategies.


* Customer Engagement: Maintain high visibility with key decision-makers and influencers, ensuring we advance business opportunities and expand our product portfolio.


* Communication: Clearly communicate progress on initiatives to both internal and external stakeholders.

Your ability to forecast and track key account metrics will be crucial.


* Growth Opportunities: Identify and execute growth opportunities within your territory, region, division, or nationally.

Your collaboration will ensure we capitalize on every opportunity.


* Representation: Represent AutoZone at trade shows and industry events, showcasing our brand and building new business relationships.


* Customer Service: Visit commercial accounts to ensure they are serviced and deliveries are made as promised.

Your commitment to customer service will set us apart.


* Safety: Maintain a safe working environment and ensure our team follows safety practices, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

What We're Looking For:


* Experience: At least 7 years of business-to-business sales experience, with a minimum of 3 years in sales management.


* Travel: Willingness to travel at least 70% of the time.


* Strong understanding of financial statements and financial planning.


* Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.


* Ability to create and execute customer development plans.


* Proficiency in analyzing sales reports and taking appropriate action.


* Understanding of P&L statements and gross profit.


* Integrity, honesty, passion, drive, and a desire for success.


* Excellent customer service skills.
