* College Degree preferred or education equivalent to a college degree.

Or industry work related experience.


* Ten (10) or more years of managed care experience, including clinical, supervisory and/or management experience.


* Demonstrates a high degree of collaboration, judgment and problem-solving skills.


* Capable of providing adequate guidance and support on administrative, clinical and technical managed care programs.


* Demonstrated ability to successfully manage the work of others.


* Demonstrates effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills, and promotes a favorable company image to the public.

* Oversee critical medical management divisions - Medical Bill Review and Network Operations, Utilization Management, Physician Review Services, Case Management


* Develop and execute the enterprise managed care strategy, aligning with organizational growth, margin and value-based program objectives


* Onboard and manage business partner negotiations, contracts, pricing, clinical intervention, quality performance, financial stability


* Assess market trends, payer strategies, regulatory changes and competitive dynamics


* Lead long-term financial planning encompassing budget and forecast initiatives


* Participation in company, industry, conference events


* Collaborate with sales team on RFP submissions including pricing


* Participation in prospective and marketed renewal presentations


* Acts as advisor to client services on medical management programs, questions and concerns


* Keeps senior management informed verbally of activities and problems within assigned area of responsibility
