Lead, Project Manager

The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of industrial construction projects.

This position integrates project management oversight with on-site leadership, ensuring all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with design specifications, budget, and schedule.

Key Responsibilities:


* Plan, budget, and manage industrial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.


* Coordinate with owners, engineers, and subcontractors to keep projects on schedule and within budget.


* Oversee field operations, site safety, and subcontractor performance.


* Coordinate with Purchasing for procurement of materials and equipment, including long-lead industrial components.


* Review plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance and quality.


* Prepare progress reports, track costs, and manage changes.


* Enforce OSHA and site-specific safety standards.


* Ensure city permits are submitted and all projects comply with city requirements.


* Identify and implement cost-reduction strategies without compromising quality or safety.


* Optimize resource allocation and improve efficiency to reduce project expenses.


* Analyze project workflows to eliminate waste and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:


* Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil/Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).


* 5+ years’ experience in industrial, heavy civil, or large commercial projects (manufacturing, processing, warehouse, or utilities preferred).


* Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and process systems.


* Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, and cost control.


* Proficiency in MS Project.


* OSHA 30 certification preferred.


* Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
