Georgia-Pacific is hiring a Regional Mechanical Packaging Manager to support our Corrugated operations in Reedley, CA (Northern California).

This role is responsible for leading mechanical packaging operations across three plants and associated produce yards, with a strong focus on safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

The Mechanical Packaging Manager will leverage leadership experience, economic thinking, and equipment expertise to align maintenance and packaging operations with commercial objectives and deliver maximum long-term value.

This position provides regional oversight and partnership across multiple facilities and customer locations.

What You Will Do


* Lead an operating team in compliance, safety, health, environmental, and quality.


* Foster a culture based on our Principled Based Management (PBM®) Philosophy Drive safety excellence through promoting employee involvement, ownership, and accountability to proactively identify hazards and implement appropriate mitigating strategies; investigate incidents and participate in resolution management.


* Coach, train, and develop operations personnel in safety, quality, and production.


* Ensure best practices are followed for minimization of waste at machine centers.


* Address key issues and concerns and interact with employees from other departments to ensure quality, on-time production.


* Plan, assign and direct work for all hourly production employees; appraise performance and provide feedback as needed; assist in resolving complaints; hold employees accountable as needed; communicate issues and results on a daily basis.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


* At least one (1) year of experience as a Manager in Mechanical Engineering supporting corrugated manufacturing or production operations .


* Strong track record of safety leadership, including proactive hazard identification, incident investigation, and enforcement of safety and environmental standards.


* Proven equipment uptime and reliability metrics.
