Job Summary:

Diagnose and repair powered industrial equipment and communicate repairs clearly to management.

 

Essential Position Functions: 

1.

Diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul mobile mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks, golf carts, pallet jacks, floor care machines and scissor lifts.

Job Qualifications Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

2.

Ability to operate powered industrial equipment, man lifts and floor care machines

3.

Ability to operate any other related power equipment.

(Man lifts, Floor cleaning equipment etc.)

4.

Operate and inspect machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defects

5.

Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles

6.

Overhaul and test machines or equipment to ensure operating efficiency

7.

Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists, hand tools and power tools.

8.

Repair and replace damaged or worn parts Repair, rewire, and troubleshoot electrical systems

9.

Read and understand operating manuals, troubleshooting guides and wiring schematics Examine parts for damage or excessive wear

10.

Weld or solder broken parts and structural members, using electric or gas welders and soldering tools

11.

Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs, using diagnostic equipment such as computerized test equipment and calibration devices.

12.

Research, order, and maintain van parts inventory for services and repairs.

Adjust and maintain machinery, using control and regulating devices.

13.

Input work orders for repairs done and keep equipment service records.

 

Education and Experience:

· Must have a high school diploma....
