Investment Banking, Infrastructure Finance and Advisory, Vice President

As a Vice President on the Infrastructure Finance and Advisory team you will originates, structure and execute infrastructure finance transactions.

While the team's coverage is global, as part of the team in New York you'll focus primarily on the Americas.

We finance greenfield and brownfield projects across a variety of sectors including energy, power, digital, renewables and transportation infrastructure sectors.

Our team have backgrounds in project finance advisory, ratings, lending, underwriting and bonds, and work with colleagues in M&A, debt capital markets, derivatives structuring and other coverage and product groups to deliver solutions to clients.

By leveraging expertise across products, sectors and markets, the Infrastructure Finance and Advisory team integrates and customizes offerings and solutions to help our clients meet their strategic, financial and risk management objectives.

Job Responsibilities:


* Lead all aspects of deal execution for bank and bond financings, and equity and debt advisory, focusing primarily on transactions in Power/Energy and/or Digital Infrastructure in the US.


* Responsibilities will include structuring, contract negotiation, due diligence, consultant management and leading credit ratings processes


* Oversee the development of financial models


* Lead credit risk and other internal approval processes


* Assist product teams in structuring hedging products


* Work with coverage and relationship bankers to pitch for new engagements and develop client relationships.


* Conduct industry and company research to identify new opportunities

Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities:


* 6-8 years of project/infrastructure finance experience


* Experience with infrastructure finance transactions in Power/Energy and/or Digital Infrastructure required


* Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in accounting, finance, economics or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred


* Candidate has existing infrastructure client and investor relationships and knowledge of the infrastructure industry and markets


* Advanced knowledge of financial modeling and financial products including bank loans, bonds, rates, and structured products


* Strong quantitative and analytical skills


* Must be a self-starter who takes initiative and anticipates deal team needs


* Willingness to work hard and be a team player.

* An ability to juggle deliverables for long-term transactions as well as a busy day-to-day schedule
