HR People Data Administrator

Primary Function

The People Data Administrator is responsible for administering and maintaining the company's human resource information systems (HRIS) as the single source of HR data.

This role ensures the accurate and timely processing of daily HRIS transactions, supports HR operations, and safeguards data integrity through issue resolution, system testing, and continuous process improvement.

The administrator works closely with HR team members to manage employee lifecycle data and provide transactional support across HR connected systems.

Essential Duties

Daily HRIS Transaction Processing



* Enter and update employee data including but not limited to new hires, terminations, job changes, and compensation updates


* Ensure accuracy and completeness of all HRIS transactions


* Monitor workflow approvals and resolve transaction errors or discrepancies

Data Integrity & Compliance



* Conduct regular audits of HRIS data to ensure consistency and compliance


* Support data privacy and security protocols in accordance with company policy and legal regulations

System Support & Maintenance



* Assist with system updates, testing, and system configuration changes with potential to serve as subject matter expert in company projects


* Collaborate with HRIS vendors and IT to troubleshoot issues and improve system performance


* Understand the end user's experience and work to continuously improve functionality of the HRIS system


* Guide, coach, and train other users on proper usage of the HRIS


* Provide HRIS technical assistance by responding to company helpdesk tickets and utilize HRIS vendor technical support

Reporting & Documentation



* Generate routine reports and respond to ad hoc data requests


* Support the automation of report generation and delivery to the business


* Maintain documentation of HRIS processes and procedures


* Process and maintain annual reporting requirements (e.g.

AAP, EEO-1, VETS 4212, etc.)

Minimum Requirements

Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; or at least 3+ years of HR operations work experience

Work Experience



* 1-3 years of experience in HRIS data entry or HR operations preferred


* Experience with Dayforce strongly preferred

Physical



* Must be able to sit for long periods using a PC


* Must be able to facilitate small and large group meetings

Other



* Must have advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) skills


* Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
