Position Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) supervises day-to-day nursing operations during the assigned shift, ensuring safe, compliant, and compassionate care for all residents.

This role works closely with the DON/ADON and interdisciplinary teams to maintain the highest standards of clinical excellence, resident safety, and staff support.
Key Responsibilities (Summary):


* Supervise and coordinate nursing staff to ensure quality resident care


* Provide direct nursing care and clinical oversight as needed


* Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations


* Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and care planning


* Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians and families


* Support medication administration, treatments, and infection control practices


* Participate in quality assurance, care plan meetings, and facility committees


* Foster a positive, team-oriented environment for staff and residents


* Assist with staff development, training, and performance oversight


* Maintain accurate documentation and ensure confidentiality at all times

Qualifications:


* Current, active RN license in the State of CA


* CPR certification required


* Nursing degree from an accredited college or university


* Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably in long-term care


* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills


* Knowledge of rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices


* Experience with PCC preferred
